Airbus CEO says FCAS project working well outside the core fighter

The ​head ​of ‌European aerospace group Airbus ​said he remained ‌optimistic about the framework for connected systems being developed for ‌the FCAS fighter project ‌despite differences with France's Dassault Aviation over the core ⁠warplane.

CEO ​Guillaume ⁠Faury said France, Germany and ⁠Spain were now reassessing the ​future of the troubled project ⁠and noted it had been ⁠conceived ​under tighter budget constraints before the Ukraine ⁠war, when parties were ⁠more ⁠willing to compromise on specifications.
