Gor noted that bilateral trade has soared from $20 billion to over $220 billion in goods and services over the past two decades, reflecting stronger economic ties. He pointed out that the interim trade agreement is primed for finalization, suggesting it could unlock unprecedented prosperity for both countries.
Highlighting sectors driving this growth, Gor pinpointed digital trade, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technologies, noting the crucial role of innovation and collaboration. As discussions continue in Washington D.C. and with upcoming U.S. delegation talks in India, anticipation for the deal's signing remains high.
