Brazil's Durigan discusses Middle East conflict, bilateral trade with Bessent

​Brazilian Finance ‌Minister Dario Durigan ​said on Tuesday he ‌discussed the Middle East conflict and bilateral trade with U.S. ‌Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on ‌the sidelines of a G7 ministerial meeting in ⁠Paris.

"We ​followed ⁠up on the agenda set ⁠by Presidents Lula and Trump, discussing ​the economic impacts of ⁠the conflict in the Strait of ⁠Hormuz ​and the measures adopted by both ⁠countries, while advancing talks on bilateral ⁠trade," ⁠Durigan wrote on X.
