In a decisive outcome, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has dominated the Punjab local body elections. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann attributed this success to the electorate's rejection of divisive politics in favor of development-focused governance.
Addressing the press, Mann congratulated the people of Punjab for rejecting parties reliant on sowing division along religious and caste lines. He emphasized that the collective seats of the BJP, Akali Dal, and Congress do not rival that of AAP, showcasing a strong pro-development mandate.
