Wall Street's primary indices saw near-record openings on Monday as investors weighed Nvidia's latest strides in artificial intelligence against mounting apprehension surrounding the unresolved U.S.-Iran war.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 128.6 points, marking a 0.25% rise to open at 51161.1. Concurrently, the S&P 500 saw modest upticks, increasing by 2.2 points or 0.03%, reaching 7582.29 at opening.

However, the Nasdaq Composite diverged from its counterparts, experiencing a downturn by 20.0 points, which equates to a 0.07% drop, settling at 26952.579 with the opening bell.
