Middle Eastern Flight Schedules Up in the Air as Airlines Grapple with Conflict
Airlines are gradually restoring some flights to the Middle East, although regional conflict continues to affect flight schedules. Middle Eastern carriers have increased capacity, but many non-Gulf airlines are diverting flights to avoid the region. Various airlines have suspended or adjusted their flight schedules to key Middle Eastern destinations.
Airlines are slowly bringing back flights to the Middle East, but regional conflicts are still impacting schedules. Some Gulf carriers are increasing capacity, yet non-Gulf airlines are opting to reroute their flights between Europe and Asia.
Greece's Aegean Airlines, Latvia's airBaltic, and Canada's Air Canada are among carriers that have canceled routes to Tel Aviv, Dubai, and other destinations due to ongoing disruptions.
Other airlines like Delta, Finnair, and Lufthansa have also adjusted their flight schedules, with services either suspended or postponed through the summer and autumn months as the situation unfolds.
