Indian Oil Corporation, India's leading state-run refiner and fuel retailer, announced the increase, hiking the cost from 913 rupees to 942 rupees, effective June 7, according to their official website.

Indian Oil Corp's decision aligns with pricing strategies adopted by fellow state fuel retailers Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum, who generally coordinate to set retail fuel rates.
