In a statement, the President said he was deeply saddened by the passing of the monarch, whose full name was Enock Makhosonke Mabhena. King Makhosonke II died on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the age of 65 after serving as the traditional leader of the AmaNdebele akwaManala for four decades.
