Communist Party of China’s delegates currently in Morocco to enhance bilateral ties

Justice and Development Party of Morocco has invited a delegation of the Communist Party of China to visit the North-African country. The intention is to enhance relations between two countries.

During the visit from Sunday to Wednesday, the delegation, headed by Sun Zhigang, a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) central committee and secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, met with Moroccan officials, including the country's Prime Minister Saadeddine Othmani.

Apart from Morocco's Prime Minister, Saadeddine Othmani, who is also the Justice and Development Party (JDP) secretary general, Sun Zhigang also came across Hakim Benchamach, who is the Authenticity and Modernity Party general secretary and the speaker of Morocco's House of Advisors. Sun Zhigang introduced (China's President) 'Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era' at the meetings.

On the other hand, the two sides exchanged their respective views on boosting bilateral ties, inter-party communication including practical cooperation at the local levels. Sun Zhigang also kept a fabulous speech at Academy of the Kingdom on the reduction of poverty in the south-western Guizhou province of China, as reported by Xinhua.
