Bengaluru-based non-banking financial company Nitstone Finserv Tuesday said it is looking at raising Rs 150 crore in fresh funding. Nitstone Finserv is in discussions with investment bankers and VCs (venture capitalist) to raise Rs 150 crore to finance the next phase of their growth," it said in a statement.

Udemy appoints Venu Venugopal as CTO * Udemy, an online learning and teaching marketplace, Tuesday said it has appointed Venu Venugopal as chief technology officer (CTO).

Venugopal will lead the engineering, data science and IT efforts to bolster the global growth of the company, a statement said. "As we remain committed to helping students, companies, and governments everywhere gain the skills they need to compete in today’s economy, we look forward to working with Venu to scale our business, continue to innovate on our platform, and deliver an even better experience to the millions who teach and learn on Udemy," Udemy CEO Gregg Coccari said.

Venugopal joins Udemy from Expedia. He also led the development of Adobe Flash, the highly successful platform for delivering rich, engaging experiences across multiple devices.
