A new report on how gender equality in senior management affects companies' performance – including profitability and innovation – will be launched by the Bureau for Employers' Activities of the International Labour Organization (ILO) on 22 May.
The report, Women in Business and Management: The business case for change, includes information gathered from almost 13,000 enterprises in 70 countries. The report also analyses the reasons behind the continuing gender diversity deficits and makes recommendations for breaking the cycle.
The researchers have also compiled 29 country 'snapshots', from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and central and southern America.
