Sensex, Nifty in red: Indian stocks fall as cabinet portfolios announced

Sensex, Nifty started extended losses today as the new Cabinet was announced. Nirmala Sitharaman is selected to replace Arun Jaitley as the Finance Minister.

Nifty is 0.23 per cent down while Sensex is 0.28 per cent down. Both the indexes were trading in green during the opening hours of market.
