US removes Italy's PB Tankers SPA from list of Venezuela-related sanctions

The United States removed sanctions imposed on Italian company PB Tankers SPA, according to official sources. Trump administration, however, added Cuba's state-run company Cubametales to its list of Venezuela-related sanctions.

The US has increased pressure on Venezuela in recent days as it seeks to place Juan Guaido, the opposition leader, in power.
