Cottonseed oil cake futures gain on spot demand

Cottonseed oil cake prices rose by Rs 47.5 to Rs 3,318 per quintal in futures trade on Wednesday tracking a positive trend at the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake to be delivered in August contracts went up by Rs 47.5, or 1.45 per cent, to Rs 3,318 per quintal with an open interest of 35,500 lots.
The rate for September delivery contracts, however, fell by Rs 93, or 3.06 per cent, to Rs 3,137 per quintal in 35,920 business lots.
