Actor Pooja Bedi, yoga guru Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa participate in conclave 'Ageing Blissfully'

Celebrity Yoga guru Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, actor Pooja Bedi, fashion designer Suneet Varma and Tibetan author Namgyal Taklha are among the personalities participating here at the global well-being conclave, ''Ageing Blissfully''.

The two-day conclave, which began on Saturday at Delhi's National Craft Museum and Hastakala Academy, aims to ''encourage people to accept, embrace, and discover the joy of living and ageing''.

Organised by 'The Positivity Project Foundation', and supported by the Ministry of Art & Culture, government of Bihar, it will include discussions and workshops by teachers, spiritual masters, wellness experts emphasising that ''ageing can be blissful and beautiful''.

Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, who has taught the likes of Madonna, Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow, will address the inaugural session followed by best-selling author of ''Hollywood to the Himalayas'' Sadhvi Bhagwati.

Sessions on Saturday would also include 'Overcoming the fear of death as we age' by Namgyal Lhamo Taklha, the Dalai Lama's sister-in-law, who also held the post of health secretary in the Central Tibetan Administration Cabinet based in India, and actor Pooja Bedi's talk on 'Your attitude determines your Altitude'.

''The aim of the global conclave is to spread awareness by creating an alternative conversation on a subject that is feared, ignored, or simply brushed under the carpet. It emphasizes that ageing can be blissful and beautiful,'' said the organisers.

Highlights of March 5 will include a master class by celebrity skin healer and cosmetologist Dr Dinyar Boxingwalla and astrologer Jai Madaan's lecture and workshop on meditation.

The event will conclude with Bharatanatyam performance by Bhadra Sinha and Gayatri Sharma.
