German export controls under review, not only with regard to China - govt

German exports controls are being reviewed in light of new technological developments, not only with regard to exports to China, a spokesperson for the economy ministry said on Wednesday.

The comment comes after Economy Minister Robert Habeck told the FAZ newspaper in an interview that Germany had to review export controls in order to "prevent losing our technology leadership."
