Plasser India Partners with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to Enhance Rail Sector Education

Plasser India, a global leader in track maintenance machines, has signed an MoU with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, India’s first university specializing in transportation and logistics. The partnership aims to advance research, teaching, and training in the rail sector, promoting innovation and skill development.

This week, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) in Vadodara, marking a pivotal academic-industry collaboration in the transportation and logistics fields.

The MoU was formalized in the presence of key figures including Prof. Manoj Choudhary, Vice-Chancellor of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, and Mr. Siegfried Fink, Managing Director of Plasser India, with support from the Hon. Minister of Railways, Sh. Ashwini Vaishnaw, and senior officials from Railway Board, GSV, and Plasser India.

This partnership is designed to foster collaboration in research, teaching, and student training, thereby enriching the academic curriculum and executive programs pertinent to rail infrastructure. It also aims to discover synergies for joint research and international partnerships, paving the way for future innovations and skill enhancement in India's rail sector.
