Festive Reopening: Telangana Schools Welcome Back Students After Summer Break

After a lengthy 48-day summer hiatus, both state-run and private schools across Telangana swung their doors open on Wednesday, welcoming students back with festive celebrations.

More than 26,000 state-run and private schools saw a joyful return of students, with some schools adorned and accompanied by drumbeats in Warangal district.

In a generous gesture, state ministers and other public figures distributed free books and uniforms to government school students, aiming to boost morale and foster an educational spirit.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao were among those who handed out supplies in Khammam, emphasizing the government's commitment to prioritizing education funding.

Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar facilitated similar distributions in Hyderabad, where the transport department also conducted school bus fitness checks to ensure student safety.
