Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the government over exam paper leaks, stating that the issue has become a national dilemma under the BJP rule, which has drastically impacted the future of millions of young individuals.
The Congress general secretary's criticism comes amid a widespread outcry regarding alleged irregularities in the NEET medical entrance exam and the abrupt cancellation of the UGC-NET examination a day after it was conducted, due to compromised integrity.
In a Hindi-language post on platform X, Priyanka Gandhi remarked, "In the last five years, papers of 43 recruitment exams have been leaked in the country. Paper leaks have become a national crisis under BJP rule, shattering the future of millions of youth so far." She emphasized that India, with the world's largest youth population, is being let down by the BJP government, which she claims is failing to empower them.
Highlighting the dedication of millions of students and the sacrifices of their families, she pointed out the adverse effects of corruption on job vacancies, emphasizing that efforts to secure employment are wasted due to systematic corruption.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also voiced his concerns, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of psychological collapse post-elections and criticizing the BJP and its parent organization RSS for allegedly capturing educational institutions, leading to frequent paper leaks.
