High-Level Committee Formed to Enhance NTA Exam Standards

The Ministry of Education has established a high-level committee led by former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan to ensure transparent, smooth, and fair conduct of examinations by the National Testing Agency. The committee will recommend reforms in the examination process and data security protocols and will report within two months.

The Ministry of Education announced on Saturday the formation of a high-level expert committee, chaired by former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan. The goal is to ensure transparent, smooth, and fair conduction of examinations administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

This seven-member committee will propose significant reforms to the mechanism of examination processes, enhance data security protocols, and review the overall structure and functioning of the NTA, according to the Department of Higher Education.

The committee, which includes prominent figures like Central University of Hyderabad Vice-Chancellor Professor B J Rao and ex-director of AIIMS Delhi Randeep Guleria, is expected to submit its findings within two months.
