The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday apprehended one of the masterminds behind the NEET-UG paper leak, a B.Tech graduate from NIT-Jamshedpur, alongside two MBBS students who allegedly operated as 'solvers,' officials revealed.

With the latest arrests, the total number of individuals detained by the agency in connection with six cases of alleged irregularities has now reached 21, authorities confirmed.

The two MBBS students, arrested on Saturday, were from a medical college in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Kumar Mangalam Bishnoi, a second-year MBBS student, and Deepender Sharma, a first-year student, were reportedly in Hazaribagh on May 5, the examination date, allegedly acting as 'solvers' for the paper stolen by Pankaj Kumar, an engineer who was arrested earlier.

Investigators stated that Sashikant Paswan, also known as Sashi or Pasu, a B.Tech (Electrical) graduate from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, was conspiring with Kumar and Rockey, who had also been detained earlier.
