Congress MP Hibi Eden on Monday described the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG exam as the 'biggest scam' and urged for a high-level committee to investigate incidents of paper leaks.
Eden raised concerns in the Lok Sabha, saying India has seen a significant rise in competitive exam paper leaks in recent years. Official data reveals 70 exam papers have been leaked over the last seven years across 15 states.
Mentioning specific instances, Eden pointed to irregularities at exam centers in Haryana and Gujarat, questioning the integrity of these examinations. While Speaker Om Birla asserted that the matter is under investigation by the Supreme Court and CBI, calls for stringent action continue to grow.
