This strong statement came after the tragic drowning of three IAS aspirants in the basement library of Rau's IAS Study Circle in Delhi, following heavy rains on July 27. Seven individuals, including the institute's CEO and coordinator, have been arrested.
The court has issued notices to both the Centre and the NCT of Delhi, seeking explanations on the prescribed safety norms and their enforcement, while warning that non-compliant centres could face closure.
Students across various coaching institutes have been protesting, urging for enhanced safety measures.
