On July 23, the Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court ordered the state government to stop hiring visiting lecturers, citing a petition from 144 visiting lecturers demanding regularisation and permanent positions. This decision has incited concerns among students about the negative impact on their education.

Purushottam Bahetwar, secretary of the Tantraniketan Abhyagat Adhiyakhata Welfare Association, highlighted the losses students face due to the class interruptions. Sudhir Salunkhe, a visiting lecturer, mentioned the cessation of free supplementary classes provided to mitigate educational disruptions.
