A government school headmaster's tragic death has shaken the Amroha district, prompting an immediate investigation into what appears to be a case of suicide. The body of Sanjeev Kumar, 50, was discovered hanging within the school premises in the Sultanpur area on Tuesday.
According to officials, Kumar had faced alleged harassment from two colleagues and the district's basic education officer. District Magistrate Nidhi Gupta confirmed the formation of a special team to investigate the incident, comprising senior administrative and police officials.
An 18-page suicide note left by Kumar detailed the alleged abuse he endured. Kumar's son, Anuj Singh, told reporters that his father's complaints were ignored by higher authorities. The district administration has assured a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances leading to this tragic event.
