The incident led Director of Elementary Education, Sitaram Jat, to dispatch an official for an inquiry at the Kartarpura school on Thursday to investigate the video's authenticity and the conduct involved.

During the preliminary investigation, it was determined that the actions of Rekha Soni breached the institution's conduct policies, prompting her immediate suspension. While the teacher claimed her request for assistance was due to leg pain, it was deemed an inappropriate act by school authorities, resulting in decisive action.
