Uttar Pradesh Gears Up for Board Exams: A Record 54.37 Lakh Students to Participate

Uttar Pradesh is all set to commence its board examinations for classes 10 and 12, with a record number of students registered to participate. More than 54.37 lakh students are expected to sit for these critical exams, which are scheduled to run from February 24 to March 12.
The government has arranged 8,140 examination centers to accommodate the influx of examinees. Of the total, over 27.32 lakh students will undertake the class 10 exams, while more than 27.05 lakh are registered for the class 12 exams. The scale of this undertaking highlights the significant educational drive in the region.
To maintain the integrity of the exams, a state-level control room has been inaugurated by Gulab Devi, the State Minister for Secondary Education. This facility, equipped with 54 computers, will oversee the conduct of the exams, ensuring strict adherence to fair practices. The government has promised stringent actions against any cheating or aiding thereof.
