During the conversation, Majhi emphasized the Odisha government's commitment to resolving the fallout after a 20-year-old engineering student's suicide and subsequent attacks on Nepalese students. The Nepalese foreign minister expressed gratitude towards Majhi for actively addressing the crisis.

Majhi's meeting with Nepalese Embassy officials, where he disclosed the arrest of ten individuals tied to the attack, underscored Odisha's dedication to restoring campus peace. Officials praised Odisha for its decisive actions, reinforcing the historic ties between Nepal and the state.
