The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced plans to train an additional 15,000 chartered accountants in artificial intelligence (AI), as emphasized by its President, Charanjot Singh Nanda.

ICAI has actively incorporated technology in its operations, establishing a committee on Artificial Intelligence and offering a one-year AI certificate program. To date, 12,000 chartered accountants have completed the program.

At a recent CFO Summit and Awards organized by Assocham, Nanda stressed the need for Chief Financial Officers to champion technological adaptation within their organizations, ensuring technology permeates throughout their teams.
