West Bengal Higher Secondary Exams: A New Chapter Begins

This March, over five lakh students, predominantly girls, will partake in the West Bengal Higher Secondary exams. The exams feature 62 subjects, including AI and Data Science, across 2,089 centres equipped with security measures to combat malpractice.

This March, West Bengal is set to host its Higher Secondary examinations with over five lakh students participating. Included in the candidate pool are 2.77 lakh girls, reflecting the growing female enrollment in higher education.

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has ensured the integrity of the exams with CCTV surveillance and advanced security features like QR codes and bar codes to prevent cheating and track offenders instantly.

For the first time, subjects such as Artificial Intelligence and Data Science are included in the curriculum. Exams will take place in 2,089 centres from March 3 to March 18, running from 10 am to 1:15 pm.
