Shiv Nadar University's Landmark Open Access Collaboration with Springer Nature

Shiv Nadar University in collaboration with Springer Nature signed an open access agreement at the India Sustainability Conclave 2025, enhancing global access to research in engineering, technology, business, and economics. The partnership aims to contribute to global sustainability and innovation by promoting international knowledge exchange.

Shiv Nadar University, located in Delhi-NCR, has teamed up with Springer Nature to sign a Fully Open Access Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the India Sustainability Conclave 2025. This partnership, also involving the Cureus series of journals, promises to expand global access to the University's research in engineering, computer science, business, and economics.

Key university leaders and stakeholders, including Vice-Chancellor Professor Ananya Mukherjee and Chancellor Shikhar Malhotra, emphasized the MoU’s potential to foster a more open research landscape. They noted the significance of enhancing international knowledge exchange and innovative solutions in the field of global sustainability.

Among numerous discussions was a panel featuring representatives from academia and industry, exploring the synergies between research and real-world impact. The event also included accolades for distinguished women faculty members, highlighting their notable contributions to academia.
