Stalin Slams NEP as 'Saffron Policy' Amid Language Controversy

In a fiery address, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin intensified his criticism of the Centre's National Education Policy (NEP), labeling it a 'saffron policy' focused on the proliferation of Hindi at the expense of national unity and educational growth in the state.

Stalin accused the Modi government of using the NEP to sustain political power by manipulating electoral boundaries and increasing representation in BJP stronghold states. He pledged that the DMK would counteract these maneuvers.

Highlighting issues with the NEP, Stalin argued it undermines social justice, disregards reservation policies, and implements problematic caste-based vocational education. His statements come amid accusations from Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who claims the DMK is exploiting language issues to regain political strength.
