Tamil Nadu Students Shine in Plus Two Exams with High Pass Rates

Over seven lakh students in Tamil Nadu cleared the Plus Two board exams, achieving a 95.03% pass rate. Girls outperformed boys with a 96.70% success rate. Chief Minister M K Stalin urged students and parents to view the results as a beginning and encourage continuous academic development.

In a remarkable academic achievement, more than seven lakh students successfully passed the Plus Two board exams in Tamil Nadu, with the results released on Thursday indicating a pass rate of 95.03%, a slight increase from the previous year.

A staggering 7,53,142 out of the 7,92,494 students who sat for the exams between March 3 and 25 have passed. The exam results revealed a clear distinction between genders as 4,05,472 girls passed compared to 3,47,670 boys, achieving pass percentages of 96.70% and 93.16%, respectively, the Directorate of Government Examinations in collaboration with Tamil Nadu's School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi announced.

Highlighting the importance of viewing the results in an optimistic light, Chief Minister M K Stalin advised students and parents to consider this milestone as the start of a promising academic journey. He emphasized the significance of support and encouragement over results themselves, advocating for a pressure-free environment for the students' growth.
