The University of Delhi has entered a strategic partnership with the University of Leeds, UK, to enhance academic exchange and research opportunities. An MoU was signed at DU's Vice Regal Lodge, aiming to boost collaborative initiatives under India's National Education Policy 2020.
The collaboration will enable students from both institutions to experience international studies by spending a semester in each other's university. This initiative is part of the DU's efforts to offer global educational exposure, facilitated by international faculty involvement.
The University of Leeds President highlighted the growing interest among their postgraduate students to study in India. The twinning programme under NEP 2020 is designed to provide a framework for enriching academic experiences and fostering international academic collaborations.
