Registrations for the IndiaSkills Competition 2025 began this week, with the competition featuring 63 skill categories. Entrants from across the country's 36 states and Union Territories will compete to become skill champions.
This biennial event is crafted to spotlight India's talented youth, preparing them for international competitions, including the WorldSkills Competition 2026. With over 60 skills showcased, it stands as the world's largest skills competition for young professionals.
Eligible participants must be Indian nationals aged 16 to 25, with specific age criteria for advanced technology skills. Registrations are open on the Skill India Digital Hub until September 30, 2025. Regional and national competitions will follow, organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
