Delhi University's students will soon benefit from the relaunch of the youth special bus service, aimed at providing a student-friendly transport option complete with music. This initiative was announced on Tuesday by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta during the inauguration of a new academy block at the Social Centre School.
Gupta also proposed a mentorship initiative, encouraging Delhi colleges to adopt government schools to promote community learning and mentorship. In her speech, she directed Education Minister Ashish Sood to develop a comprehensive plan for this initiative, emphasizing the democratization of education.
DU Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh addressed the students, urging them to develop a solution-oriented mindset. He highlighted the significance of creating an education system that fosters a country-centric approach, which he argued has been lacking for decades.
