The much-anticipated results of the Presidency University Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET), held by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB), were finally released on Monday after weeks of anxious waiting.
A total of 5,262 candidates appeared for the exams, including 92 from outside West Bengal, according to a statement by WBJEEB. Notably, of those who cleared, 98.76% hailed from the West Bengal Higher Secondary Council.
The delay, caused by complications related to OBC reservations, drew ire from the student community, with the SFI's Presidency unit staging protests. University officials expressed concerns over the academic schedule disruption due to the delayed results.
