Apollo Tyres has partnered with KIIT to integrate a new elective on tyre technology for engineering students. The initiative aims to enhance the curriculum with industry-driven content and practical experiences, equipping students with advanced skills for the automotive sector innovation.

Apollo Tyres announced on Tuesday a groundbreaking partnership with Bhubaneshwar's Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) to introduce a unique elective module focused on tyre technology for engineering students.

This collaboration will see Apollo Tyres Ltd. actively shaping the academic framework of the course while aiding the institute in crafting a relevant syllabus, developing material, and aligning the curriculum with the industry's cutting-edge technological trends.

This pioneering initiative, explained R Mahalakshmi, Chief Human Resources Officer of Apollo Tyres, aims to bring tyre technology into mainstream engineering education, equipping students with practical, future-ready skills through hands-on internships and on-site training, crucial for the evolving mobility sector in India.
