In a strategic move to empower its youth, the Tripura government has entered into partnerships with IIT Delhi and Tata IIS, according to a government spokesperson on Sunday. These collaborations aim to address industry demands by training 1,000 candidates in cutting-edge job roles, thereby enhancing local employment and curbing outmigration.
The first partnership with IIT Delhi will focus on training 500 candidates in advanced fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Blockchain. These programs will be conducted in association with local institutions, supported by funds from PMKVY 4.0 and MMDUP schemes.
Meanwhile, Tata IIS will train another 500 individuals in technical fields including electric vehicle maintenance and 3D printing, linked strictly to job placements.
