On Saturday, Panjab University celebrated its 73rd convocation with Vice President and Chancellor CP Radhakrishnan delivering an inspiring video message. He emphasized the institution's 143-year legacy, noting its pivotal role in shaping distinguished leaders worldwide and advocating for innovation and education aligned with global standards and national goals.

Radhakrishnan highlighted the university's achievements, including publishing 11,000 research papers in five years, contributing to India's vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. He praised the graduates, urging them to drive innovation rooted in Indian knowledge and remembering their educational journey as a beginning of new responsibilities.

Governor Gulab Chand Kataria applauded the 75% female graduating class, marking a milestone in women's empowerment through education. Celebrating illustrious alumni like Dr. Manmohan Singh, Olympian Neeraj Chopra, and actor Anupam Kher, he envisioned the university emerging as a leading global institution, fostering future generations.
