The first-ever World Skills Youth Camp took place in Ningbo from December 1 to 5, gathering 60 young individuals from 28 countries. Organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange and Ningbo Polytechnic University, the event embraced the theme "Youth Skills, Green Future."
Central to the camp's curriculum was a novel three-stage innovation methodology, elucidated by instructor Wang Yi, which aimed to systematically channel creativity into concrete results. A visit to the Zeekr Smart Factory allowed participants to observe cutting-edge smart manufacturing, complementing their theoretical learning with practical exposure.
Beyond industry insights, the camp facilitated cultural connectivity. Participants explored Ningbo's rich heritage through visits to significant cultural landmarks and engaged in traditional arts. This harmonious blend of education and cultural immersion fostered strong interpersonal bonds, driving a collective pursuit of sustainable development goals.
