A government primary school headmaster in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia has been suspended following accusations of submitting forged photographs of renovation work. The official notification was released on Saturday.
Shashi Kant Gautam, the in-charge headmaster, faces charges of indiscipline and financial misconduct according to District Basic Education Officer Manish Kumar Singh. He was suspended immediately after a district task force meeting chaired by Chief Development Officer Ojaswi Raj.
An inquiry is being led by Ram Pratap Singh, Block Education Officer of Nagra, who is tasked with presenting a report within 15 days to address these serious allegations.
