The Delhi government is gearing up to establish a new medical college in Dwarka, with an investment exceeding Rs 800 crore, as discussed in a recent meeting led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.

Located in Sector 17, the new institution will comprise an eight-storeyed academic block, student hostels, faculty residences, and a sports ground. The college will boast state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, and a library, alongside smart infrastructure including electric vehicle charging facilities and energy-efficient designs.

In addition to this ambitious project, plans are underway for redeveloping the Maulana Azad Medical College and LNJP Medical College campuses with a consultancy budget of Rs 13.44 crore. The redevelopment will focus on modernizing older structures and planning new constructions.
