Haryana Governor Ashim Kumar Ghosh highlighted the critical role of the nation's youth in steering India towards the 'Viksit Bharat 2047' vision at the Kurukshetra University's 35th convocation.
Ghosh, speaking as ex officio chancellor, stressed that students should transition from academia to active contributors in innovation and entrepreneurship. He conferred an honorary degree upon Supreme Court Justice Rajesh Bindal for his distinguished service in law and awarded degrees to around 3,000 scholars.
Ghosh urged graduates to transcend traditional career paths and aspire to be job creators. The governor lauded the university's 'A' grade from NAAC and its accolade from the Haryana government, underscoring its alignment with the National Education Policy-2020.
