Governor Kavinder Gupta Encourages Young Scientists to Boost Agriculture

During his virtual address at the 17th convocation of Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University in Palampur, Governor Kavinder Gupta emphasized the need for young scientists to channel their research towards improving the economic conditions of farmers.
Highlighting the state's agricultural dependency, with over 60% involved in the sector, Gupta underscored the impact that scientific advancements and a self-reliant farming community could have on the broader economy of Himachal Pradesh.
President Droupadi Murmu's planned attendance was canceled due to adverse weather. Gupta extended congratulations to graduates, acknowledging this academic milestone, and applauded the university's contribution to research and innovation, which has been impactful both domestically and internationally.
