The Andhra Pradesh government has achieved a significant turnaround in Class 10 board exam results, as reported in March 2026, by adopting a comprehensive reform strategy. This strategy, led by State Education Minister Nara Lokesh, combined various elements such as academic planning, continuous assessment, and technology-driven monitoring.
A notable aspect of the reform was the execution of a 100-Day Action Plan, which ran from December 6, 2025, to March 15, 2026. This plan benefited over 3.77 lakh students across more than 7,000 government schools by providing continuous assessment and custom interventions based on student competency levels.
The reforms also focused on welfare measures, such as nutritious mid-day meals and free educational resources, which supplemented academic efforts. As a result, there has been a visible improvement in pass percentages and student performance across the state.
