Chaos at DU: Rusticated Student Sparks Violent Altercation

A commotion erupted at Delhi University's Shaheed Bhagat Singh College late Thursday when a rusticated student returned with associates, causing chaos and allegedly assaulting staff, officials reported.
The expelled student, previously removed for an assault during intoxication, returned hours later with a group to confront the complainant. This escalated to violence involving college staff and security personnel. Principal Arun Kumar Attree confirmed the administration contacted Malviya Nagar police for an investigation.
A security officer described how the group abused staff and violently forced their way into the campus, fleeing when more staff arrived. The college urges immediate identification and legal action against the culprits.
