Cape Breton University (CBU) from Canada expands its academic ties in India, signing several Memorandums of Understanding with key institutions. Led by President David C Dingwall, the delegation explored opportunities for collaboration in sectors like artificial intelligence and renewable energy across multiple Indian cities.

A delegation from Canada's Cape Breton University, led by President David C Dingwall, has solidified new educational ties in India by signing three significant memoranda of understanding. This strategic move aimed at fostering higher education partnerships, involved visits to New Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad.

During this substantial outreach, CBU established MoUs with BML Munjal University's School of Engineering and Technology, the National Education Forum, and Lok Jagruti Kendra University, enhancing student and faculty exchanges, joint research, and academic conferences. Discussions also focused on collaborating in artificial intelligence, community development, and startup ecosystems.

The engagements included dialogues with Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood and Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, highlighting themes of hybrid learning and the potential for collaborations in sectors like semiconductor manufacturing, renewable energy, and automotive industry, aligning academic initiatives with workforce requirements.
