Telangana Boosts Education: Gradual Budget Increase to Propel State Schools

In a strategic move to enhance educational standards, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy unveiled plans to gradually increase the state’s education budget allocation from the present 8.22% to 15%.

Speaking at the inauguration of 'Education Week,' Reddy emphasized the government's commitment to boosting government schools' status, making them comparable to private institutions.

The state also aims to introduce nutritional schemes and send teachers abroad for advanced training, with significant measures underway for teacher welfare, including promotions and transfers.
