CBSE Class 12 Results: A Mixed Bag of Success and Challenges

The CBSE class 12 exam results indicate an overall pass rate of over 85%, with a decline compared to last year. While over 94,000 students scored above 90%, more than 17,000 students achieved above 95%. Girls surpassed boys with a passing rate of over 88%, as opposed to 82% for boys.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) unveiled the class 12 exam results, highlighting a pass rate of over 85% among candidates. This marks a slight decline from last year, with three percentage points less on overall pass rates.

According to Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, in addition to the general pass percentage, more than 94,000 students secured above 90% marks. Additionally, over 17,000 candidates achieved scores exceeding 95%.

Notably, girls have outshone boys again, achieving a pass percentage over 88% compared to the boys' 82%. However, the number of students placed in the compartment category increased, crossing 1.63 lakh, a rise of nearly two percentage points from the previous year.
